Decorator Tip - No Damage Mantle Hack

One of our most asked questions is; How do you secure your garlands to your mantle without damaging it with nails, hooks or adhesives?

Well, we have a hack for that! And it only takes is a few items and a couple of steps…

1. Get a board the approximate depth and length of your mantle (we used a 1x8)

2. Paint or stain the board to match your current mantle, let dry completely

3. Screw in cup hooks to the top of the board (we used 5 for our 6ft mantle)

4. Place your board (cup hook side up) on your mantle

5. Decorate!
